German Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon Touchdown at Leeuwarden
Fighters, Eurofighter Typhoon of German Air Force while touchdown at Leeuwarden Air Base in Netherlands. The picture taken by Michael Manz shown us the attempt of Eurofighter Typhoon braking on runway after touch down. Its canard wings retracted down, creating air braking effect, helping jet fighter to stop soon.
Leeuwarden Air Base is located in Leeuwarden, northwest of the capital of Friesland. This air base is one of the biggest F-16 Fighting Falcon's base of Royal Netherlands Air Force. This Air Base was built in 1938 for commercial airport until 1949, after that Leeuwarden became military air base for Royal Netherlands Air Force.
Back to German Air Force, Eurofighter Typhoon is a fighters and interceptors jet in Luftwaffe (German Air Force) alongside F-4 Phantom. While they also have Panavia Tornado for bombing and reconnaissance missions. German armed force also known as the fourth biggest military power in Europe and one of the best-equipped air force around the world.
